Our mission was to add to the "Water Street Beautification Project" in Downtown Petaluma, Ca. On the corner of a busy East Washington and Petaluma Boulavard streets, local business owners and the City of Petaluma needed a way to commemorate Petaluma heritage and add life to the dreary area prone to vandalism. This was our first large scale exterior mural project and was painted on a tricky corrugated sheet metal surface. The mural features a large rooster standing at just under 20' tall with three chicks hatching from eggs and a large banner waving across the mural reading Petaluma, Ca. These images sit atop an abstract background. To this day the exterior Petaluma mural project  stands as a fixture to the local community.
