Our mission working with Petaluma City Schools was to provide a live painting mural experience in which the district teachers, and administrators could participate in the creation of a mural painting. More than 400 staff participated using a variety of mural painting materials including spray paints and paint pens to create assorted images, shapes, or words of affirmation in their desired medium. The two walls allowed experimentation using a variety of spray painting nozzles (caps) and colors that helped to form a warm and cool mural color composition. The Petaluma City Schools logo was prepainted and masked off  on both mural areas to allow for an open canvas of experimentation. Once the experience was completed the masking was removed to reveal the logo and complete the large collaboration. The murals now reside within the PCS district office to commemorate the collaboration and unity behind the mural painting experience.
