Our mission working with Petaluma High School in Petaluma, California was to create a mural painting as part of a class gift for the graduating classes of 2018 and 2019. We worked closely with the school's students and administration to develop a mural painting concept that would inspire all parties involved. The School mural features muralist Maxfield Bala's iconic collage-like style with colorways, images, and iconography true to the school's history and culture as a diverse academic staple since 1873. Five student portraits represent the various academic, historical and cultural themes important to students and staff. Moving from left to right these include school spirit, sports, art, academics, science, and biology / Scientific studies. This mural helps to add life and color to the school's back entrance and pick up location.

The large scale outdoor mural measuring approximately 50' wide by 8' tall was painted using spray paints and ultimately clear coated with our specialty UV/ Weather resistant clear coat to help the mural last longer and keep vibrant for years to come.
