Mural Location: Two Rock, Ca
(San Francisco, Bay Area)
Mural Type: Public Art Murals, Commercial Murals, Sign Painting
Our mission working with some good folks out in the rolling hills of Two Rock, California hills was to create a two-sided mural that doubles as a prominent roadside sign. This road sign was meant to help identify an electric car charging station while paying tribute to the small largely farming-based community. We accomplished this mission through a vintage postcard-style mural filled with local iconography that includes golden poppies, local rocks, dairy cow, solar pannel, lamb, and a beach sunset followed by a lightning bolt. The flip side is a straightforward text that clearly reads Two Rock. Finally, we treated the sign with a UV/weather-resistant clear coat to help add longevity to the project. If you find yourself out near the Northern California Coast, keep a close eye out for this roadside work of art.
